Task & responsibilities

• Studying blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine job requirements
• Selecting, cleaning, and preparing metal stock
• Cutting marked-out metal sections using hand tools, flame cutting torches, and machines
• Shaping and bending metal sections and pipes using hand and machine tools, heating, and hammering
• Aligning parts using measuring instruments and hand tools
• Joining metal components using various welding techniques, bolting, grinding, and riveting
• Inspecting welds for bead width, penetration, and accuracy
• Finishing products through cleaning, polishing, filing, and acid treatment
• Grinding, chiselling, and smoothing welds to achieve required finish standards

Qualification & experience

• Proven one year of experience as a Welder or Fabricator
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Competency in MIG welding techniques
• Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to workplace health and safety standards
