Carpenter

WEST COAST LININGS PTY LTD is seeking a reliable and experienced full-time Carpenter to join our growing team in Perth WA.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate previous carpentry experience through references, photos of completed projects or portfolio examples.

• Hours: Full-time – minimum 38 hours per week.

Task & responsibilities

• Construct, install and repair structures and fixtures made from timber, steel framing and other materials
• Read and interpret plans, drawings and specifications
• Measure, cut and assemble materials accurately
• Install wall and roof framing systems
• Carry out cladding, lock-up and finishing carpentry works
• Operate and maintain carpentry tools and equipment safely
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety and quality standards
• Coordinate with site supervisors and other trades on construction projects

Qualification & experience

• Relevant trade qualification in Carpentry or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 years of relevant full-time experience (referees will be contacted)
• Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively within a team environment
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
• Strong attention to detail and workmanship
• White Card required
• Driver’s licence preferred
