We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our construction firm. <h3>Benefits</h3>The position offers a competitive base salary of AUD 77000 - 80000 per annum plus superannuation. <h3>Task & responsibilities</h3>·&nbsp;Residential carpentry, maintenance and insurance repairs, including renovations, framing, fix-out, doors, skirting and general carpentry works.·&nbsp;Working independently on assigned jobs while overseeing workmanship on other active projects and conducting quality checks before job sign-off.·&nbsp;Inspect completed formwork structures to ensure compliance with project and safety standards, and coordinate with other trades and subcontractors when required.·&nbsp;Interpret structural and architectural drawings to determine formwork layout and construction requirements.·&nbsp;Accurately measure, cut and assemble timber and sheet materials, and construct and install timber and proprietary formwork systems in accordance with engineering specifications.·&nbsp;Set out and prepare materials for formwork installation, including slabs, columns, beams, retaining walls and suspended decks.·&nbsp;Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently in a construction environment while identifying issues early and reporting progress and defects to the Director. <h3>Qualification & experience</h3><ul><li>Trade qualification in Carpentry (Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent) OR Certificate IV in Carpentry</li><li>A minimum of 1 year of experience</li><li><span style="color:rgb(89,89,89);font-family:&quot;Indeed Sans&quot;, &quot;Noto Sans&quot;, &quot;Helvetica Neue&quot;, Helvetica, Arial, &quot;Liberation Sans&quot;, Roboto, Noto, sans-serif;font-size:16px;">Strong knowledge of construction materials and methods</li><li>Commitment to workplace safety</li></ul>
