Architectural Draftsperson

Saleh Homes Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Architectural Draftsperson to join our growing residential construction team in Derrimut, Victoria.

The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing architectural drawings and construction documentation for custom homes and townhouse developments, coordinating with consultants, and supporting projects from concept design through to construction.

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare architectural drawings, plans and construction documentation using Revit and CAD software.

* Produce detailed residential construction drawings for custom homes and townhouse developments.

* Coordinate with engineers, surveyors, consultants and suppliers throughout the design and construction process.

* Assist in the preparation of planning permit and building permit documentation.

* Ensure all drawings and documentation comply with the National Construction Code (NCC), Australian Standards and Victorian Building Regulations.

* Review and amend plans in accordance with client requirements and project specifications.

* Maintain project documentation and support project delivery within required timeframes.

Skills and Qualifications

* Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Building Design, Architecture, Building and Construction, or a related discipline.

* Minimum two years of relevant experience as an Architectural Draftsperson or in a closely related role.

* Proficiency in Revit and construction documentation.

* Strong knowledge of the National Construction Code (NCC), Australian Standards and Victorian Building Regulations.

* Excellent communication, organisational and project coordination skills.
