Main responsibilities

· Manufacture and assemble custom joinery components including kitchens, wardrobes, vanities, cabinetry, and bespoke fit outs.

· Interpret and work from technical drawings, shop drawings, and plans.

· Measure, cut, shape, and assemble timber and board materials such as MDF, plywood, laminates, and solid timber.

· Operate woodworking machinery and hand and power tools safely and efficiently.

· Undertake on-site installation, fit-offs, and final adjustments to ensure precision and quality finish.

· Assist with carpentry-related works associated with joinery installation and fit-outs.

· Ensure all work is completed in accordance with Australian standards, project specifications, and quality requirements.

· Maintain compliance with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) regulations and safe work practices.

· Inspect finished products to ensure accuracy, durability, and client satisfaction.

Qualifications & Skills

· Certificate III in Joinery (AQF Level 3) or equivalent qualification

· Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in joinery manufacturing and installation

· Demonstrated experience in custom joinery, including kitchens, wardrobes, and cabinetry

· Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans

· Proficiency in operating woodworking machinery and hand/power tools

· Knowledge of materials including MDF, plywood, laminate, and solid timber

· Understanding of Australian standards and WHS requirements

· High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

· White Card (Construction Induction) required

· Valid driver’s licence preferred
