Concrete Field Tester

You will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and safety of the construction materials used in Australia’s diverse infrastructure projects around Greater Brisbane and surrounds. 

This role comprises of the sampling and testing of concrete mixes, entering detailed records of test results into relevant paperwork / computer software, assisting in the concrete testing department and assisting the supervisor / manager in any other tasks as necessary. 

Benefits

Salary: AU$75,000 - AU$85,000 per year + Superannuation. 

This position is offered on a permanent, full-time basis. 

Task & responsibilities

• Conduct concrete field testing, meeting the agreed sampling and testing requirements set by Product Technical Managers, Customers, TMR etc.
• To ensure equipment is within calibration and conduct equipment calibrations to schedule.
• Perform all field-testing operations.
• Conduct specialized concrete testing.
• Ensure Laboratory NATA requirements are maintained.
• Understand and conduct testing with strict adherence to current revision of standard test method requirements. 
• Review and adjust testing practices to ensure optimum, consistency, and representative test result outcomes within such requirements.

Qualification & experience

• At least Diploma level in a related field
• Knowledge of Concrete sampling and testing methods and processes
• Strong knowledge of relevant Australian Standards, TMR & NATA requirements
• Good time management and ability to meet deadlines without compromising quality
• White card
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as Concrete Field Tester or in similar role
