Construction Project Manager

The Construction Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing all construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The role requires strong leadership, project management expertise, and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes.

Task & responsibilities

• Lead and manage all construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
• Maximise building turnover by ensuring jobs under construction achieve budgeted timelines and are within cost.
• Monitor construction personnel to ensure sufficient resources are allocated to achieve Construction turnover.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution
• Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress against key milestones
• Provide leadership and mentorship to on-site staff, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and safety
• Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams, providing regular updates and addressing any issues or concerns
• Consult with senior manager and shareholders on matters requiring attention and implementing their decisions

Qualification & experience

• Proven experience of atleast 3 years as a Construction Manager in the construction industry.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve excellence
• Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation
• In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field
