PAINTING TRADES WORKER

The Painting Trades Worker will be responsible for performing a variety of painting tasks on residential and commercial properties. They will work as part of a team to ensure high-quality painting services are delivered to clients. As a Painting Trades Worker at RKL PAINTING AND DECORATING PTY LTD, you will be responsible for applying paint, varnish, and other finishes to a variety of surfaces according to project specifications.

Task & responsibilities

Your primary tasks will include:

• Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, patching, and priming
• Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
• Mix and match colours to achieve desired results
• Repair and replace damaged areas of painted surfaces
• Clean and maintain painting equipment
• Follow safety procedures and use protective equipment
• Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure customer satisfaction

Qualification & experience

• Proven 1+ year of work experience as a Painting Trades Worker
• Completion of a relevant trade qualification
• Knowledge of different painting techniques and materials
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Good physical stamina and the ability to work at heights
