Painter

As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing and painting interior and exterior surfaces to a high standard. The role involves working independently or as part of a small team, delivering quality finishes on both new builds and residential renovations. Attention to detail, time management, and pride in workmanship are essential.

Task & responsibilities

• Set up safe access equipment such as ladders or scaffolding and cover nearby areas to keep them clean and protected.
• Get surfaces ready by taking off old paint or wallpaper, fixing damaged timber, filling small gaps, and making sure surfaces are smooth and properly prepared.
• Prepare and mix paint to match the correct colour and thickness needed for the job.
• Paint or coat surfaces using basic tools like brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas.

Qualification & experience

• Proven residential painting experience (one year Minimum)
• Certificate III in Painting and Decorating / Apprenticeship
• Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
