Task & responsibilities

• Interpret and work from construction drawings and plans
• Carry out carpentry works including framing, fix-outs, formwork and general construction
• Install structures and fixtures such as windows, doors, cabinets and frameworks
• Measure, cut and assemble materials with precision
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with building codes and safety standards
• Maintain a safe and organised worksite
• Work collaboratively with supervisors, trades and project managers

Qualification & experience

Essential Requirements:

• Trade qualification in Carpentry (Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent) – mandatory
• Minimum 12 months full-time relevant work experience as a Carpenter
• Strong knowledge of Australian building standards and practices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
• White Card (Construction Induction)
• Current driver’s licence preferred
